Who we are
This website is operated by ANVIC LTD, a company registered in Scotland (company number SC879976). Anvic Group is the trading/brand identity of ANVIC LTD. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Contact: info@anvicgroup.com.
Information we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address and message, the subject you select, and optionally your company and phone number.
- Email enquiries: if you email us (including info@ or tenders@ addresses), we receive your email address, name and anything you include in your message.
- Technical data: when you visit the site, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and request details in order to deliver the website and protect it from abuse.
How we use it
We use the information you provide only to respond to your enquiry, to discuss potential work or collaboration with you, and to keep a record of our correspondence. We do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to, and we do not sell it.
Lawful basis
We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business, or on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Spam protection
Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that submissions come from a person rather than an automated system. Turnstile processes limited technical information about your browser and device for this purpose only. It loads only when you reach the contact form. See Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy information. The form also uses simple hidden checks that do not involve personal data.
Cookies and analytics
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run website analytics. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technologies to deliver the site securely and to operate the spam check; these do not require consent. If we introduce analytics in future, we will update this notice and ask for consent where required.
Hosting and third-party services
The website, contact form and form submissions are hosted and processed by Cloudflare, Inc., which acts as our processor. Messages submitted through the form are stored securely with Cloudflare and forwarded to our business email. Our email provider processes messages we send and receive. Cloudflare may process data outside the UK; where this happens, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Contact-form submissions are automatically deleted from our website storage after 12 months. Email correspondence is kept for no longer than necessary, normally up to two years, unless it forms part of an ongoing business relationship or we must keep it for legal reasons.
Your rights
Under UK data-protection law you have the right to access your personal information, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email info@anvicgroup.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
